Cal.com was a product that was created out of necessity. Our founders were working during the height of the pandemic and needed a customizable calendar scheduling solution, ideally one that was open-source. They found none, and once again, necessity became the mother of invention.
As a product, Cal.com is designed to make communication easier. Civil society is constructed of meetings. Some are formal, and others are less so. However, arranging a time to get together and connect with another individual is often harder than it should be.
With Cal.com, things change. Using our service means you don't have to go back and forth trying to coordinate a time and date that works for two or more parties. Instead, you can just send a link or use our dynamic meeting feature to cross-reference multiple calendars at once. As our product and reach have continued to grow, we've worked hard to ensure that we never lose sight of our people-friendly North Star.
Cal.com calendar scheduling is people-first, which means it's customizable. This is one reason why we have an app store. This means that anyone and everyone can customize their Cal.com account by adding integrations easily and effortlessly. Over the last few months, AI has increasingly become part of the way we work. This reality is reflected not just in terms of the products we are developing, like Cal.ai, but also within our app store.
Meet Salesroom AI
Salesroom is a unique teleconferencing platform that offers real-time advice, powered by AI. This product has been built to set sales professionals up for success. Every time you start a meeting within Salesroom, you'll receive a list of any other interactions that have happened with that specific attendee in Salesroom. You’ll also, thanks to the AI, be able to tell when the other party's attention is wandering. This helps to provide you with opportunities to re-engage, and build rapport so you can secure the sale. Salesroom AI is a uniquely innovative solution that helps drive growth and save time, especially when used in combination with Cal.com.
Installing the app
Log in to your Cal.com account.
Select "Apps" from the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Select "Teleconferencing" from the featured categories.
Scroll down until you see Salesroom.
Click on the "Details" button.
Finally, click on the "Install App" button.
At this point, Salesroom has been installed. However, you'll have to create a new event or edit a previously created one if you'd like to use it as a meeting location. Once you've done this, however, the sky's the limit in terms of the time you can save and the efficiency you can achieve.
