Get StartedCal.com is a calendar scheduling solution that's focused on making it easier to meet. We want our users to spend less time managing the nitty-gritty and more time focusing on the things that matter the most. This is why we've built a product that's reliable and easy to customize. We've done this because we don't want there to be any roadblocks that prevent you from using Cal.com to start saving time.
Cal.com knows that the only time one-size fits all is when it's adjustable. That's why we offer modular customization in our event-level settings as well as third-party integrations via our developer-friendly app store. Every month, we post an update on our blog to let our users know what's been fixed, what's in the pipeline, and what's just been delivered. We do this because we believe that consistent and transparent communication is important.
In the recent Cal.com v4.2 blog post, we mentioned that we now have a feature called Rolling Dates. This is an option that you can enable to provide a bit more flexibility when using our Limit Future Bookings setting. As we mentioned in the monthly update, we knew that this Limit Future Bookings needed to be tweaked in order to achieve maximum impact. We also realize that for anyone who's a new subscriber, this might be the first time they've heard about any of Cal.com's booking limit settings. This is why we've put together a quick tutorial so that users who've never used booking limits before can easily and effortlessly find the setting, implement it, and start benefiting right away.
In this quick tutorial, we're going to look at how to enable the Rolling Dates feature, which is available to all Cal.com subscribers regardless of account type.
Log into your Cal.com account.
Select your Event Types dashboard.
Click on the event you want to edit.
Choose the Limits tab on the left-hand side of the page.
Scroll down until you see "Limit Future Bookings."
Click on this tab to switch it to the "On" position.
Enter the number of business days into the future you want people to be able to book.
Check the box labeled "Always [number] days available."
Finally, scroll up to the top of the page and click the Save button in the upper right-hand corner.
We know that sometimes it can be challenging to find a new feature, especially when it's incorporated as part of a pre-existing setting. We hope that this tutorial makes it easy for you to find and implement our Rolling Dates feature to save time, increase bookings, and as always, schedule in a way that works for you.
