Cal.com Event Not Showing Up on Your Public Profile? Here’s What to Do

Appointment scheduling should be simple

What does it mean to provide a calendar scheduling solution for everyone? Well, at Cal.com, it looks like customization, flexibility, security, and innovation.

We know that people come to us with a variety of needs. For some, it's a matter of taking back their time personally so they have more available to spend doing the things they love. For others, it's all about business, and our suite of tools helps them supercharge efficiency so that those resources can be reinvested.

Troubleshooting should be easy

Just like our users, Cal.com believes that your scheduling environment should reflect your needs. This is one of the key reasons we have so many easy plug-and-play options for customization. However, we know that sometimes what people need is a little bit of information, especially if they're trying to solve a problem.

Cal.com account holders create all sorts of appointment types, from collective and managed to round-robin. However, sometimes these events don't show up where they're supposed to. This is the problem that this article is going to help you solve.

My appointment's not showing up on my public profile

By default, all of the bookable events you create are supposed to display on your public profile. However, there are a few simple scenarios that could change this. The first and most common reason that a bookable appointment wouldn't show up as available is if the hidden event setting has been accidentally activated.

In order to fix this, all you have to do is go to your event type dashboard and click on the hidden event setting, so it switches from the "on" position to the "off" position.

After this is done, simply refresh the page or open a new tab or window and visit your public booking page. You should see that the event which was previously not displaying is now there.

Are you a team subscriber?

If you're part of a team, it means that you have two components to your event dashboard. One is personal, and the other is for specialized team event types. If an event isn't showing up on your personal booking page, it might make sense to double-check if it was accidentally created on your team booking page.

In this case, all you would need to do is recreate the appointment so it's assigned to the correct part of your profile.

If you're part of an organization or enterprise plan, and you are expecting a specific event type or template to be assigned to you and it's not showing up, just double-check with your team admin. There's always a chance that they might not have gotten around to doing it yet, or if there's anyone else in the company who has a similar name, it might have accidentally been assigned to them instead.

As you can see, troubleshooting your Cal.com account is super easy and straightforward. If you have more questions, please check out our help documentation, as well as our GitHub community.
